Ms. W.Y. Lin was Appointed as the President of Tatung

In the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on June 24th this year, Tatung Company elected independent directors and established an audit committee. To further strengthen corporate governance, the Board of Directors hence resolved to appoint Ms. W.Y. Lin, Executive Vice President of Tatung, to serve as the President of Tatung effective from today. Organization change will also be made, from the existing 7 business units, to consolidate into 3 business groups namely Power Business Group, Consumer Business Group, and System Solutions Business Group. Power Business Group, headed by Mr. J.D. Lu, senior vice president, includes Energy Infrastructure BU, Motor BU, and Wire & Cable BU. Consumer Business Group, headed by Mr. L.Y. Cheng, vice president, includes Home Appliance BU and Digital Display Solution BU. System Solutions Business Group, headed by Mr. M.G. Ho, senior vice president, comprises New Energy BU and ICT & Energy Solutions BU. The Company will devote its efforts to enhance operating profits, investment income, and brand value for greater shareholder's value.
