Hannover, Germany, 10 March 2005 --- Tatung Company, the leading Taiwanese electronics manufacturer, will demonstrate a whole new spectrum of digital life scenarios in this year¡¦s CeBIT in Hall 2, Stand B 32. Benefiting from its design and manufacturing experience in CE products, Tatung successfully integrated unique and more human interfaces to its new digital IT products.

Tatung's major products to be presented in the CeBIT 2005 include: flat panel TV displays, DVD recorders, set-top boxes, digital media adaptors, multimedia entertainment devices, home cinemas, servers and tablet PCs, which can be divided into the following four product groups - flat panel TV displays, digital home solutions, portable multimedia entertainment, and business applications, altogether forming this year¡¦s main theme ¡§see, hear and enjoy with Tatung¡¨.

Tatung¡¦s president Mr. W.S. Lin emphasized the feature of Tatung¡¦s new products this year to be full compatibility and connectivity with high quality digitalization, as a result of the company¡¦s achievements on several key patents. President Lin also stated that Tatung would continue to invest extensively in research and development to cope with the fast market changes and the increasingly diverse customer needs, aiming to fulfill our customers with new thrills and excitements through our innovations for the new digital era.

Meanwhile, at the CeBIT 2005 Taiwan IT Industry Forum, organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, the executive vice president of Tatung, Ms. Wen-yen K. Lin, will deliver a keynote speech to elaborate her visions on the future digital lifestyle and the role Tatung is going to play given this year¡¦s main them ¡§see, hear and enjoy with Tatung¡¨. The speech is scheduled on 11th March 2005 at 1:30~4:00pm at the Hannover Convention Center Saal 15/16.
