Tatung Co. established "Pollution Prevention Educational Center" in 1988 with the goal of promoting education and training in environmental protection. Two laboratories in the center were funded to analyze organic and, inorganic matters, dusts, drinking water, water quality and quantity. Furthermore, Tatung Electrical and Electronic Equipment Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Laboratory was established in November 2005 and certified based on ISO/IEC17025:2005 by TAF. The analysis results are able to help factories, subsidiaries and associated companies meet the requirements from the customers and EU regulators. Current certified laboratories are listed below:

	Industrial Sanitation Laboratory (CLA no. 091005779) for organic and inorganic matters as well as dust analysis
	Tatung Environmental Research Center (EPA no. 117) for drinking water, water quality and quantity analysis
