With the goal of training specialists in pollution protection area, Tatung Co. established Tatung Environmental Analysis Research Center and Work Environment Monitoring Center (certified by Council of Labor Affairs: 0930061298).  Work Environment Monitoring Center is responsible for carrying out sampling of the physical and chemical factors for the Company or customers.  There are three laboratories in Tatung Environmental Research Center, they are: 1st Industrial Hygiene Laboratory (certified by TAF: L1697-090120) which is responsible for analysis of organic, inorganic matters and dusts; 2nd Environmental Testing Laboratory (certified by EPA: No.117) which is responsible for testing drinking water quality and water amount; 3rd Electronic and Electric Equipments Restriction of Hazardous Substances Laboratory (certified by TAF: L1697-071024) which is responsible for analysis of Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr6+, PPBs, PBDEs and heavy metals.  The analysis results are able to help factories, subsidiaries and associated companies meet the requirements from the customers and EU regulators.
