SF6 amorphous mental transformers obtained a utility patent. 1000KVA SPU amorphous transformers sold to Nissin Corporation in Japan. Motor & Electric Apparatus Plant completed 6 sets of seawater circulation pumping motor modules (flow rate: 10 m2/sec, lift:17m) for TPC Taichung Power Plant, making Tatung the first electric machinery manufacturer in Taiwan to make such products. Motor & Electric Apparatus Plant, in collaboration with ITRA, completed the prototype of 20kW 32P PM motor which also passed running test.

Wire and Cable

Developed enameled wire for the 300°C grade of motors with smoke and heat exhaust ventilators. Developed TSB-PEW-H applicable to IEC 317-38 (heat-resistant to 200°C) and NEMA-MW 102-C (heat-resistant to 180°C).
